Start Filing Date
March 1, 2027
Last day to make a deductible RRSP contribution for the 2026 tax year.
April 30, 2027
Personal income tax return filing deadline for most individuals.
April 30, 2027
Payment deadline for any balance of taxes owed for 2026
June 15, 2027
Filing deadline for self-employed individuals and their spouses or common-law partners (payment is still due by April 30, 2027).

Filing Deadlines
When a deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or CRA-recognized holiday, the CRA accepts filings on the next business day. When in doubt, file early.
